Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 20 June 2026 Last Updated: 20 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ANVAPO LTD, trading as "JuvaPrep" ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website https://www.juva.uk/ (the "Site") and our online test-preparation packages and related services (the "Service").

We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13558080, with our registered office at 01 Meadlake Place, Thorpe Lea Road, Egham, TW20 8HE, United Kingdom.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions, you can contact us at hello@juva.uk.

1. Scope

This policy applies to personal data we process about visitors to the Site, registered account holders, customers who purchase a Package, participants in our Live Classes, and people who otherwise interact with us (for example, by submitting a testimonial or completing a feedback survey). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and our Cookie Policy.

2. The Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

ā—     Account and identity data — your name, email address, username, and password.

ā—     Purchase and transaction data — the Packages you buy, order history, and billing details. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (see Section 8); we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

ā—     Learning and usage data — your progress, activity within Packages, and how you interact with the Site.

ā—     Live Class data — your attendance at Live Classes and, where Live Classes are recorded, your image, voice, and any contributions captured in the recording (see Section 5).

ā—     User content — comments, forum posts, assignments, reviews, and similar content you submit, and any testimonials you provide.

ā—     Feedback data — responses you choose to give in surveys, including those linked from our refund-confirmation emails.

ā—     Communications data — messages you send us (e.g., to hello@juva.uk) and your contact preferences.

ā—     Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and similar data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).

We do not seek to collect special category data (such as health or biometric data). Please do not include such information in user content or communications unless necessary.

3. How We Collect Your Data

We collect personal data: (a) directly from you when you create an account, buy a Package, attend a Live Class, submit content, contact us, or complete a survey; (b) automatically as you use the Site, through cookies and similar technologies; and (c) from third parties, such as our payment providers (confirmation that a payment has been made).

4. How and Why We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only where the law allows. The table below sets out our purposes and the lawful basis (under Article 6 UK GDPR) for each.

ā—     Creating and managing your account; providing the Packages and Live Classes you purchase — lawful basis: performance of our contract with you.

ā—     Processing payments and maintaining transaction records — lawful basis: performance of our contract with you; and compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., tax and accounting records).

ā—     Providing customer support and responding to your enquiries — lawful basis: performance of our contract; and our legitimate interests in helping our users.

ā—     Recording Live Classes and making recordings available to participants — lawful basis: performance of our contract; and our legitimate interests in providing a complete learning experience (see Section 5).

ā—     Improving our content and Service, including through feedback surveys — lawful basis: our legitimate interests in understanding and improving what we offer.

ā—     Publishing testimonials you have provided — lawful basis: your consent.

ā—     Sending you marketing communications (where you have not opted out) — lawful basis: your consent, or our legitimate interests where permitted (see Section 9).

ā—     Analysing how the Site is used, through optional cookies — lawful basis: your consent (see Section 7).

ā—     Keeping the Site secure and preventing fraud or misuse — lawful basis: our legitimate interests in protecting our business and users.

ā—     Complying with legal obligations — lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights, and we will provide further detail on request.

5. Live Classes and Recordings

Where we make Live Classes available to you, they are delivered online via Zoom. Live Classes are currently offered only on a beta basis and are not always recorded. Where a Live Class is recorded, the recording is made available to participants for a limited period as described in our Terms. A recording may capture your image, voice, name, and contributions, and may also capture other participants. If you do not wish to appear in a recording, you can keep your camera and microphone off during the class. We use recordings only to provide the Service to participants and do not publish them externally without consent.

6. Feedback Surveys

After certain interactions — for example, when we process a refund — we may send you an email that includes an optional link to a feedback survey. Completing the survey is entirely voluntary. We use the responses to understand your experience and improve our Packages. We run these surveys using Google Forms.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary; others are optional and are set only with your consent. These cookies may be set by us or by our platform provider, Podia, and by Google Analytics.

We use the following categories of cookies:

ā—     Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to function, such as keeping you logged in and maintaining your session. These are set by us and our providers (including Podia) and do not require consent.

ā—     Functionality cookies — remember your preferences and choices to improve your experience.

ā—     Analytics/performance cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.

We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies. If we introduce them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Optional cookies (functionality and analytics/performance) are set only where you have given consent through our cookie banner when you first visit the Site. You can accept or reject optional cookies and change your preferences at any time via the cookie banner, and you can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Some optional cookies are set by a third party (Google, through Google Analytics), which processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy; this may involve transfers outside the UK (see Section 10). For full details of each cookie we use, its purpose, and how long it lasts, see our Cookie Policy.

8. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (our "processors"), under contracts that require them to protect it, and where required by law. These include:

ā—     Payment providers — Stripe and PayPal, to process payments.

ā—     Live Class platform — Zoom, to deliver and record Live Classes.

ā—     Website/platform provider — Podia, which hosts our Site and supports account management and content delivery.

ā—     Security and content delivery — Cloudflare, which helps deliver and protect the Site.

ā—     Cookie consent management — Cookie Script, which records and manages your cookie preferences.

ā—     Google — we use Google Workspace (email and business tools), Google Analytics (site analytics, via optional cookies — see Section 7), and Google Forms (optional feedback surveys — see Section 6).

ā—     Contractors and freelancers — individuals we engage to provide teaching, content production, customer support and administrative services, who may access personal data on our behalf as our processors under written contracts.

We may also disclose personal data to professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement where necessary to comply with the law or protect our rights, and to a buyer in connection with a sale of our business.

9. Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing emails (such as newsletters and promotional offers) where you have consented, or where we are otherwise permitted to under the rules on electronic marketing (for example, to existing customers about similar Packages, where you have not opted out). You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting hello@juva.uk. Service messages (such as purchase confirmations, refund confirmations, and Live Class details) are not marketing and will still be sent.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the UK, but some of our processors (such as Zoom, Stripe, Podia, and Google) may process personal data outside the UK, including in the United States. Some of the contractors who process personal data for us are also based outside the UK — including in a country that does not have a UK adequacy decision, where we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), and in the European Economic Area, where we rely on its adequacy status. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as a UK "adequacy" decision for the destination country, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more detail on the safeguards we use.

11. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. Our general retention periods are:

ā—     Account and learning data — for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after it is closed or becomes inactive, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

ā—     Transaction and payment records — for 6 years, to meet our tax and accounting obligations.

ā—     Live Class recordings — for the 7-day availability period stated in our Terms, after which they are deleted (normally within 30 days).

ā—     Feedback and survey responses — for up to 24 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

ā—     Correspondence (such as support emails) — for up to 24 months after your query is resolved.

Where we no longer need personal data, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it. Where the law requires us to keep certain records for longer, we will retain them for that period.

12. How We Protect Your Data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information and to restrict access to those who need it.

13. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to: request access to your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to our processing; request portability of your data; and, where we rely on consent, withdraw that consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@juva.uk. We will respond within the time limits required by law.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

14. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hello@juva.uk and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

15. Users Outside the UK

If you access the Service from the European Economic Area, the EU GDPR may also apply to the processing of your data, and you have equivalent rights, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, additional rights may apply under the CCPA/CPRA.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last Updated" date and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you.
